Centreville's junior high cross country teams ran their final meet of the season Wednesday at the MHSAA Middle School Regional in Bangor, and they finished it the way this group has run all fall. The boys scored 74 points in Division 3, behind Buchanan (51) and Lawton (60) and ahead of Kalamazoo Christian (95). Grayson Miller ran a personal-best 12:25.5 and Zachary Kline a personal-best 12:37.0, and with Jackson Brown they earned top-20 medals. Malakai Zinke, Zaden Porter, Dezmond Albarran — also a personal best, in 13:30.9 — and Owen Prescott rounded out the top seven. Aiden Pierucki ran a personal best too. The girls scored 107 points, with Tara Peters leading the team and earning a medal. Eliot Harker closed out her season with a personal-best 14:39.9 and a medal of her own, and Regina Miller, Evie Wolff and Maisie Moyer also scored. Congratulations to all of our junior high runners on a great season, and thank you to the families and coaches who supported them.
