On a very chilly Saturday morning in Sturgis, Centreville's cross country teams raced at the Kiwanis Invitational, and the high school boys brought home another first-place trophy. The boys scored 26 points in Division 3, ahead of Quincy (61), Bronson (73), Constantine (95) and Concord (96). Will Hulin won the division in 15:54.7, with Nick Overweg 2nd and Max Reed 3rd. Will Swanwick was 6th, Tanner Bingaman 14th and Landon Weis 15th — six Bulldogs in the top 15 of the division. Corban Brueck was our seventh finisher, and Matthew Falkenstein ran a personal best. The girls placed 2nd with 52 points, behind Bronson (40) and just ahead of Constantine (55). Addison Johnson was 11th and Emily Falkenstein 12th, both earning medals. Norah Lammon, Hazel Sloat and Katelyn Trattles, who ran a personal best, also scored for the team.
