Centreville started slow in the first set against St. Phil, but it was good to see the girls wake up and stay competitive throughout the second. Pool play closed out against Loy Norrix, where the Bulldogs went back and forth and came away with a split. That put Centreville in the silver bracket against Bronson in the semifinal - a competitive three-set match, and great to see the girls come out on top. The Bulldogs met Loy Norrix again in the silver final, where Norrix was just a little more consistent. Centreville fought back from nine points down in the second set but couldn't get ahead quickly enough. Overall, a good day: good competition, a quicker pace of play, and the girls stepping up. As this team continues to find its consistency, this was a much-needed weekend heading into the back half of conference play.
