Centreville Public Schools

Beginning this year, every Centreville student gets into home athletic events free. Football, volleyball, cross country, basketball, wrestling, baseball, softball, track — if it's a regular-season home event, you walk up, and you're in. No ticket. No money. This is the in thanks to the Bill and Norma Swanwick Legacy Fund. Bill and Norma Swanwick spent their careers right here. He was a teacher, a counselor, a principal, and a coach. She was an assistant principal and then a teacher for decades. All five of their children graduated from Centreville and coached here. All thirteen of their grandchildren have gone to school here or might even be in a seat right next to you. Bill and Norma have both passed away, and their family started this fund so that no student would miss out on athletics because of cost.
